Care

Every Mysza piece is handmade, and most are pieced together from upholstery fabric scraps. That is what makes them unique, and it is also why a single care label is impossible: one pouch can combine leather, cotton, linen and polyester in the same patchwork. When in doubt, always choose the gentlest option.

Pouches and bags

Made from mixed upholstery scraps, so the exact composition cannot be determined.

Hand wash only. Never put them in the washing machine.
Use lukewarm water, at a maximum of 30 degrees.
Use a mild detergent, and test it first on a hidden spot.
For small marks, spot clean with a soft, damp cloth instead of washing the whole piece.
Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not dry clean.
Reshape while damp and dry flat, away from direct sunlight and radiators.
If ironing is needed, use low heat on the reverse side and avoid any leather or coated parts.

Laundry bags

Made from cotton, so they are much simpler to look after.

Machine wash at up to 40 degrees.
Use a normal detergent, no bleach.
Tumble dry on low, or line dry.
Iron on medium heat if needed.

Everyday care

Store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.
Avoid overfilling: seams and handles are sewn by hand.
Let a damp bag dry fully before putting it away.

Please be cautious

Because our pouches are patchwork, we cannot state their exact composition. Treat every piece as if it were made of its most delicate material. If a panel looks like leather or suede, keep it away from water entirely and use a dedicated leather care product instead. If you are unsure about a piece, write to us at madebymysza@gmail.com before washing it.
