Small, sturdy and full of character. Each pouch is cut and sewn by hand in patchwork, from upholstery fabrics given a second life, so no two ever turn out the same. Ideal for cosmetics, keys, cards or the small things worth keeping close. Once one finds a home, it is gone for good.
One of a kind, and then gone
Every Mysza pouch is a patchwork, pieced together by hand from upholstery offcuts and remnants. The scraps come from different rolls, in different weights and colours, so the panels never fall the same way twice. That is the whole point. Once a pouch finds a home it is not remade, and what you see on this page is what exists. Small irregularities in the seams are not flaws but the evidence of a hand rather than a machine, and they are part of what makes the piece yours.
Fabrics with a second life
The cloth we work with was already woven, already made, and already destined for a bin. Upholstery workshops cut what they need and discard the rest, and those remnants are good, heavy, hard-wearing fabric. We collect them and put them back together. A single pouch can combine leather, cotton, linen and polyester in the same patchwork, which is why we cannot print one accurate composition label. When in doubt, treat a piece as if it were made of its most delicate material: hand wash only, at a maximum of 30 degrees.
Small bags for the things worth keeping close
A pouch is the least glamorous and most used thing in a bag. Ours are built for cosmetics, keys, cards, cables, a pair of glasses, all the small treasures that otherwise drift loose. Some are made with two compartments, so the things you need quickly are not buried under the things you rarely touch. Others carry D-rings on both sides, so you can clip on a shoulder strap and wear the pouch on its own. The measurements in each listing are a guide, because every piece is cut by hand.
Made by one pair of hands in Switzerland
Mysza is one person, working in Lutry on Lake Geneva. Cutting, piecing, sewing and finishing all happen at the same table, which is why new pouches appear when the last one is done rather than in seasons. The Available now page always shows exactly what is in stock right now. If nothing there is quite right, we occasionally take custom orders, depending on which scraps are at hand.
